WHO ARE WE ?
El Moutanakil is a music platform dedicated to the promotion of DJ artists & electronic music producers through residencies and sound experiences.
Launched in 2018 by a collective of young Algerians whose motivation is to develop an itinerant concept based on research on the Algerian musical heritage with a goal of creating a sound identity for the Algerian electronic music.

ROOFTOP PARTY
The “Rooftop Party” events, aim to promote Algeria as a Travel destination through electronic music events taking place in the heritage sites of Algeria.
SOUND EXPERIENCES
El Moutanakil's sound experiences are the encounter of Algerian and international electronic music artists as a means to promote research intraditional and modern music through residencies and Artistic workshops.
CINEMA
El Moutanakil in collaboration with Alpha Tango Studio, are launching a documentary series.
In pursuit of ancestral cultures and musical practices, ENCOUTERS recounts our travels and extraordinary encounters with the inhabitants and the artists, an emotional narration and the sharing of the most intimate moments of the arts we discovered.
